Operations and Power Division Scholarship
Applicant Requirements
- The OPD Scholarship is intended for an undergraduate or graduate student
- Must be enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in nuclear science or engineering at an accredited institution in the United States
- Must have completed a minimum of two complete academic years in a four-year nuclear science or engineering program
- Must be U.S. citizens or possess a permanent resident visa
- Academic accomplishments must be substantiated by transcript
Key Dates
- Applications open: November 15
- Deadline for ANS Common Application and all Named scholarships: February 1
- Notifications sent: April 15 - May 1
- Awards dispersed to Department Head: After August 20
OPD has provided $10,000 in scholarships in 2019-2020.
