Operations and Power Division Scholarship

Applicant Requirements:

  • The OPD Scholarship is intended for an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Must be enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in nuclear science or engineering at an accredited institution in the United States
  • Must have completed a minimum of two complete academic years in a four-year nuclear science or engineering program
  • Must be U.S. citizens or possess a permanent resident visa
  • Academic accomplishments must be substantiated by transcript

Key Dates:

  • Applications open: November 15
  • Deadline for ANS Common Application and all Named scholarships: February 1
  • Notifications sent: April 15 – May 1
  • Awards dispersed to Department Head: After August 20
