MISSION: |
To create and promote high-quality, national and
international meetings of interest to OPD membership. |
|
GOALS: |
1.
At each of the two national meetings, organize at least 4 sessions and
meet the paper count criteria. 2.
Each year, sponsor at least one Class I or Class II Topical that is
not on the base calendar. 3.
Each year, sponsor at least one Class III Topical. 4.
Program Chair or alternate attends the four NPC meetings each year. 5.
Maintain information on this portion of the website at least as
frequently as described by the Update Calendar. |

PLANS and ACTIVITIES: |
1.
Upload in accordance with the approved ANS
guidelines OPD special session / panel presentations onto the OPD website
after each ANS national meeting. Target the initial set of
presentations from the 2007 Annual meeting. 2.
The following technical sessions and meetings are
currently being organized. |

· Members of the OPD Program Committee are volunteers who are appointed by the OPD Chair to serve for as long as the member is interested in being active.
· The OPD Program Committee evaluates the quality of the technical sessions sponsored by OPD and presentations given therein and recognizes excellence with an appropriate award.
