MISSION: To recommend to the Executive Committee, OPD members as candidates for Society Honors and Awards, nominees for Society officers and membership on national committees.
GOALS:
  1. Each year, identify the recipient of the Walter H. Zinn Award.
  2. Each year, identify the recipient(s) of the Meritorious Performance in Operations Award.
  3. Each year, coordinate the preparation and submittal of a Fellow nomination package for at least one OPD member.
  4. For both national meetings, identify recipients of the Mona Grimsley Best Session Award(s), and the Best Paper Award(s), and the Excellent Presentation Award(s).
  5. Each year, identify OPD members for other ANS Honors & Awards, as appropriate.
  6. Each year, identify OPD members for Society officers and membership on national committees.
  7. Maintain information on this portion of the website at least as frequently as described by the Update Calendar.
